Is this partially based on Koh the Face Stealer per-chance? its slightly reminiscent at any rate. but i really love it. the creature's different textures are very impressive.

Fantastic work on the creatures to the left. Each one has its own merits; I adore the meticulous detailing in the top one; the various hues used in the mask on the one below it are phenomenal, and really render a sort of pearl-finish, resulting in a truly bone-chilling effect. The hard hilights in the insect-like creature are very well executed, and I'm especially fond of the way the detail and focus fades as it goes further off to the side - I know from experience that this is quite difficult to do properly. Finally, the hand is also wonderfully rendered, as well as the rock upon which it falls.

The stones directly to the left of that rocky area, however, seem somewhat less solid - as if they were made of papier-maché, instead of stone. Also, the pose of the girl is very awkward. Her arms extend strangely from her body, and the proportions are definitely off. The individual elements, however, are once again well painted - especially her hair. It almost shares the nature of a flame, which serves as a fine depiction of her might and courage.
